BIRD RESCUE {1}

Today we got a call from Someone, He told that there was some injured bird at his house. Further he told that the bird was of green colored bt was not like parakeet. It was having yellow colored feet and grey beak. So our rescue team of 2 volunteers went there And collected the bird. It was a yellow footed green pigeon.

The Yellow-footed Green Pigeon Treron phoenicoptera also known as Yellow-legged Green Pigeon is a common species of Green Pigeon found in South Asia. The species feeds on fruits of a large variety of fruit trees including a number of species of Ficus. They forage in flocks. In the early morning they are often seen sunning on the tops of emergent trees in dense forest areas.

They brought the bird to the center where I was ready with my equipments.

The bird was injured from fan. And it was steel bleeding from its wound.

So we treated it and fed it some mash fruits. And then it was shifted to the special tropical injured birds' cage. This is a cage in which we can restrict the movement of bird.

Let's prey for this poor bird.

So that's all for today.
